PUPPIES...PUPPIES...PUPPIES...PUPPIES...
We normally have 9 to 12 puppies in a litter. All of the puppies will be a deep burgandy red color - just outstanding. :)
Don't miss out, as these puppies are normally all spoken for PRIOR to being born. sandra_spitzer@yahoo.com
COST: Puppies are $2500.00 each, and we require a $500 deposit to reserve a puppy. The puppies will be mid-sized to the larger (Royal or Giant) Irish Doodles. All the red-headed kids should have a nice deep red color.
Please note: All checks are to be made out to: SPITZER FARMS, LLC. (please - do not make your checks out to me! Thx)
Since the mother is about 65 lbs and the father is about 80+ lbs, each litter will have puppies weighing 65 to 80 lbs. Typically the males are larger than the females. Every litter is different when it comes to sizes, but the dark red color happens everytime.
If you are wanting a Giant male Irish Doodle, these big guys are $3200.00 and we require a $1500.00 deposit to reserve one. (we normally have at least one of these Big puppies per litter, and have had up to four) Giant sized puppies have a higher prioriy on the pre-litter list - only if there is available space. I choose these big guys for the families. At about 5 to 6 weeks of age, I can determine how many Giant Doodles are in the litter. If you send a deposit to reserve a Giant sized male, and if by chance there are not enough for all the families on the list - at that time you can have the option to purchase the same male puppy, but at the $2500.00 price, OR transfer your deposit to the next litter, OR ask for a full refund. The choice is yours.
LITTER NOTIFICATION LIST: If you would like your name to be put on the 'litter notification list', please send me an e-mail. You will then receive an email when we are expecting a litter of puppies.
Please contact us with additional questions. sandra_spitzer@yahoo.com

Thank you for your interest in our Mid-sized to Giant Irish Doodles...
We think they are the best out there!
And certainly worth the wait... if you can!
RESERVING A PUPPY
To reserve a puppy, we require a non-refundable (500.00) five hundred dollar deposit. (or $1500.00 for Giant sized)
This is Andi (below) and we are having 'Family Day' here at our home. Andi is holding her new puppy, Finn. He is a stout, big boy. Since this photo, Finn has grown to 100lbs, and a good 30" + tall. He is the nicest dog you have ever met - and Loved by everyone who meets him. And this boy thinks he can 'talk'! Yes, he likes to tell you about his day - everyday! Just hilarious to see him in action. :)
*Please send your name, address and phone number by email. Also include in this email, a brief explanation of what you are looking for in a puppy. Family, and home lifestyle...
Once the puppies are born and you have sent a pre-litter deposit, you will be notified that we have a puppy reserved in your name. If there are not enough puppies in the litter for all the families on the list, - at that time, we will offer you a puppy of the opposite sex (if we have one available), OR you can transfer your deposit to the next liiter, OR you can ask for a full refund. It is your choice.
Sending a 'pre-litter' deposit will give you the peace of mind and assurance that you are on the puppy list. It will also give you a better chance of getting a puppy from one of our litters. Please remember, it is a bit of a gamble, since only mother-nature know how many boys / girls will be in the litter.
Making our Puppies "Super Dogs": Early Neurological Stimulation for Dogs, (ENS) Along with supplemental bottle feeding is the answer!! Starting when the puppies are 3 days old, we start neurological Stimulation. It has been used for decades and benefits puppy development in five ways. 1) Improves Heart Rate. 2) Stonger Heart Beats. 3) Stonger Adrenal Glands. 4) More Tolerance to Stress. 5) Greater Resistance to Disease.
At approx 6-7 weeks of age, the new familes can pick out their puppy in the order of which we received a deposit. You can stop by to choose your puppy, or if you live out of state and not able to stop by, I will send photos and a brief description of the puppy.
When accomplishing the 'puppy selection process', please be patient, as sometimes this make take several days to complete.
Viewing of the litter prior to 5 weeks is fine, but only for a short time, as it makes the mother uncomfortable. Handling of the puppies is not allowed until they are 6 weeks old, at which time the 'puppy selection process' will start. Please keep in mind that I am very busy when we have a litter of puppies, and I may not have time to allow visitors to stop by.
In the event a familiy changes their mind on purchasing a puppy, deposit monies will not be refunded, nor transferred to another litter, but used towards additional advertising expenses in selling the puppy.
At eight weeks old, the puppies are ready to go to their new homes. We do offer boarding for your puppy ONLY if prior arrangements have been made with us several weeks in advance. Otherwise, please plan to pick up your puppy when it is 8 weeks old.
When the puppies 'leave the nest', we send home ("scented" like their mother and siblings) a towel and a stuffed animal to help with the transition when leaving their parents. They will have their first set of vaccines, a 2-year written health guarantee against genetic issues, (as of date, we have never had any problems with our adult dogs, their puppies or from the breeders we bought them from) and a small bag of puppy kibble - the type we are currently feeding. (Purina ProPlan, Puppy FOCUS, Large Breed.) If you choose to change puppy food, use this bag to slowly switch them over and to avoid an upset stomach.
This is a sample of what we send home with each puppy to his/her new home.
We also feed BilJac Puppy Select. The puppies really like both types of food and tend to do very well on both types of kibble.
If a genetic issue arises within the two-year time frame. (or actually any time in your puppy's life, as we need to know this for breeding purposes) Please get in touch with us. Send us a letter from your veterinarian, describing the issue in detail, along with photos as deemed necessary. If indeed there is a serious / life-threatening genetic issue,it will be at our discretion - if we will offer you another puppy (in exchange for the current puppy / dog) Or offer a refund on the puppy purchase price.
Please note: we do not ship our puppies out of state, as we have no problem selling them in Colorado. On the other hand, we have had several families from out of state purchase a puppy and find alternate ways of getting them home. All arrangements of taking a puppy home when living out of state is the responsibility of the new owner.
If you live out of state, yet another option is to use a 'pet chauffeur'. Katie Tice is located here in the Denver area and will help you make arrangements to fly your puppy home. www.petsfly.com Katie is a pro when it comes to shipping pets and is very reliable. Phone: 720-291-4974
"Giant Irish Doodle Puppies" We normally get one or two of these bigh Boys in each litter. It is very important to pick up your puppy as close as possible when eight weeks old, as these little guys are big! The pups will fit in the soft sided carry-on bags, recommended by the airlines which fits under the seat in front of you. It will be tight!
Please contact the airline you are flying and purchase the largest carry-on pet carrier they will allow. The size of the carrier will vary with each airline.
